What Low Water Pressure Work Covers
Last updated: October 2026
Massachusetts Plumbing Pros provides low water pressure evaluations and repairs as described in your approved estimate or work order. Work may include checking accessible plumbing fixtures, identifying likely causes of reduced flow, and repairing or replacing agreed plumbing components. The cause may involve a regulator, clogged piping, a filter, a softener, a well system, or a leak; diagnosis does not guarantee that every concealed condition will be found.
Work outside the approved scope requires a separate agreement. This includes unrelated plumbing, concealed-pipe repairs, restoration, and work by other trades.
We will identify permit needs and confirm requirements with the local city inspector; permit fees or third-party work are not included unless stated. Plumbing work must follow applicable Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 142, 248 CMR 3.00 licensing requirements, and 248 CMR 10.00 plumbing code.
Where relevant, cross-connection work may be subject to 310 CMR 22.22. Drinking-water matters may also involve the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection, Department of Public Health, Boston Water and Sewer Commission, or EPA rules, including the Lead and Copper Rule.
Booking Visits and Changing Plans
Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method offered by Massachusetts Plumbing Pros. We will confirm the expected visit window and any access or preparation details available at booking. Please ensure an adult can provide entry to the work area and tell us about known hazards, access restrictions, or changes in the pressure problem before the appointment.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, contact us as soon as possible using the details in these terms. Any cancellation charge or other consequence applies only if disclosed and agreed before booking, subject to applicable law. Arrival times are estimates and may change because of earlier jobs, traffic, emergencies, or conditions outside our control; we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of a significant delay.
If inspection shows that the requested work needs to change, we will explain the additional work and any price or timing impact. We will not proceed with a material scope change without your approval, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary to address an urgent safety risk and the law permits it.
Written Quotes, Approvals, and Payment
An estimate describes the work and price based on the information available at the time. It may change if inspection reveals concealed damage, inaccessible piping, different site conditions, or a need for additional work.
We will explain any proposed change and obtain your approval before proceeding with that added scope. Do not treat a verbal discussion as approval of a revised written estimate unless we clearly confirm the change.
The estimate or work order will state the applicable charges, payment timing, and accepted payment methods. Payment is due as stated in that document.
Any deposit, permit fee, materials charge, or other amount will be identified before you authorize the work; no specific price or financing offer is promised by these terms. If an invoice is disputed, contact us promptly with the amount and reason so we can review it.
Taxes, if applicable, and charges for work outside the agreed scope will be handled as shown in the estimate or as separately approved. These terms do not remove any consumer rights that apply under Massachusetts law.
Written Coverage for Completed Work
Massachusetts Plumbing Pros stands behind workmanship only to the extent described in a written estimate, work order, or separate warranty provided for the specific job. These terms do not create a fixed warranty period or promise coverage that has not been stated in writing. Ask us to clarify any written coverage before approving work, including how to report a concern and what parts or labor it addresses.
Coverage may not apply to problems caused by pre-existing conditions, normal wear, misuse, failure to maintain equipment, unauthorized changes, or work performed by someone else after our visit, when those circumstances are relevant and allowed by law. Manufacturer warranties for supplied products are separate and may have their own conditions; we can identify available information but do not replace the manufacturer’s warranty.
If you believe completed work is not performing as agreed, contact us promptly and describe the issue. We may need a reasonable opportunity to inspect the work before repairs are made by another provider. Nothing here limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
Responsibility for Service-Related Losses
To the extent Massachusetts law allows, Massachusetts Plumbing Pros’ responsibility for a claim arising directly from a particular service is limited to the amount paid for that service. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it, including liability that cannot be waived for negligence, intentional conduct, or other protected claims. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, concealed conditions that could not reasonably be identified during the agreed work, or damage caused by a customer, another contractor, or an unrelated system failure, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
We will perform plumbing work in accordance with applicable licensing and code requirements, including Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 142, 248 CMR 3.00, and 248 CMR 10.00, as relevant to the job. Required permits must be addressed with the local authority; the city inspector determines local permit requirements.
Cross-connection work may be governed by 310 CMR 22.22. Drinking-water rules, including the EPA Lead and Copper Rule where applicable in Massachusetts, do not make us the water supplier or regulator. No term here reduces rights that cannot be limited by law.

The version in effect when you approve work generally applies to that work, subject to applicable law.
